What is Distributed Grocery?

The Distributed Grocery Project enables customers to purchase critical food, paper goods, and other necessities without having to enter an environment with possible viral contamination. The model utilizes the “Direct to Consumer” (D2C) approach to bring pre-packaged items directly from the distributor to a designated pickup location, or hub, where the customer receives their purchase.

How It Works

1. Enter the Queue

Turn into the Wiers Farm parking lot on the far South end of the building. If you see a lot full of semi-trucks, you are in the North Lot! The Queue drive lane begins left of the Wiers Farm office when you are on St. Rt. 103-South.

2. Pull Into Pickup Zone

Follow signs to pull into the designated loading zone or as directed by the support staff. We ask that you please do not exit your vehicle. We want to ensure a no contact, no touch produce pickup.

3. Show ID & Verify Order

Please show ID to a support staff member from your vehicle. We will match your name with your order and pull your order.

4. Open Cargo Area & Receive Order

Once we match your name with the order, we will grab your items and set them in your car. To expedite this process, we ask you pop-open or unlock your cargo area where the order will be stored.

5. Exit After Order Fulfillment

Once you receive your order and the staff indicates you are good to go please drive to the end of the queue lane, circle around, and exit the same way you entered the queue.
